SOLD OUT RUCKUS! Tour comes to Detroit

PAERISH

Starting off the night we have an alternative rock band that has been making waves in the music scene with their powerful Indie music. These talented musicians come 3,941 miles from their hometown Paris, France. Band members consist of lead singer and guitar Mathias Court, guitar Frédéric (AKA Shrederic) Wah, bass Martin Dupraz, and on drums Loïc Fouquet. PAERISH's music had a good variety of songs and sounds opening up for MOVEMENTS.

WEBBED WING

Leading onto the next band this three-piece rock band Webbed Wing delivered a performance that was sounding like '90s grunge. Opening with their hit song "Further." Going through the rest of their setlist of nine songs were elements of indie rock, dream pop, and electronic music that were unique. Webbed Wing immediately delighted the audience with their mesmerizing riffs and sounds. The song that had a nice intro that I could listen to constantly is "For Real." All the band members drummer Jake Clarke, bassist Mike Paulshock, and Guitarist and Singer Taylor Madison were giving it their all by being so energetic on stage.

TIGERS JAW

From the moment this band appeared, the energy in the room was very intense, and it only increased as the night went on. Tigers Jaw fulfilled a performance that can only be described as very delightful. Opening with their song "Hum" the crowd immediately caught the audience's attention. Throughout the concert, Tigers Jaw performed a mix of favorites that had the crowd singing along at the top of their lungs. From all the band members guitar/vocals Ben Walsh, keyboard and vocals Brianna Collins, Guitar Mark Lebiecki, and drummer Teddy Roberts. At the end of their set, it was a powerful and emotive experience for them and the crowd and it will be remembered for the years to come.

MOVEMENTS

Around 9:45 pm EST MOVEMENTS entered the stage.. immediately captivated the audience with their deep lyrics and intense melodies. The first song that was sung was "Lead Pipe." The audience on the floor and even up on the balcony was having such a blast and were dancing throughout the concert. The crowd was also crowd-surfing left and right! The chemistry between the band members and the crowd was very moving!! This band was formed in 2015 in Margarita, California band members include lead singer Patrick Miranda, guitar Ira George, bassist Austin Cressey, and drummer William York. The band was signed to a record contract with Fearless Records. MOVEMENTS flawlessly performed a mix of 14 songs. The band did not have an encore since lead singer Patrick Miranda said "Encores are corny!" MOVEMENTS gave a mesmerizing performance that left the audience in awe. MOVEMENTS really proves how to put on a show and I will definitely be back to see these guys when they make a trip back here in Detroit!
